Swing or wiggle, swing or wiggle....I still can't decide which of these two styles captures my style and heart more. So to save me from  hours upon hours of turmoil I've come to the conclusion that both are awesome and suit me equally and because of this I'll fill my wardrobe all of the pinup girl frocks and skirts that fit into this category.

Now that we are fully into the groove of 2015 I wanted to style and snap a few of my current must have styles from Pinup Girl Clothing and my current lust list for the first half of the year. As you already know PUG are my go to brand for all clothing and accessories and I'm forever checking into all of their social media and the 'coming soon' section to see what beautiful garments I can snap up next order! In this post I've reviewed 3 loves of 2014 and at the end you'll find a few newer styles tha have snuck their way onto my MUST HAVES list for 2015.

Now this is the second Renee dress I own and it won't be the last! I first wore/reviewed the tipsy elephant version of this dress in the 5th issue of Adore Pinup and since then I've been an absolute convert. This stunning style is everything a girl could want in a summer frock and fits like a dream.

In a size XL I'm completely comfortable, supported and have zero spilling. I have GG cup breasts and I'm 100% supported and covered in this built in bra area. Don't only does this style support a large chest  but it makes them look amazing, I wore this on Christmas day and had many boobie related compliments. I find that most of the bust areas if not all in both the Pinup Couture and Deadly Dames range are that well constructed and lined that you can go with out a bra. From the Vamp top and dresses to the Voodoo Vixen styles you don't have to worry about finding a strapless bra anymore and can wear all of these tops and dresses with confidence.

The Renee also features a full swing style skirt, hidden pockets and a rich blue print covered in anchors. Now that I have two beautiful prints in style I will be needed both the black and red versions as soon as they hit the website. I'd love to style the plain fabrics over the cooler months and play with boleros and cardigans.

I've paired this with my  favourite petticoat which is hidden beneath the swing skirt and I get my petticoats at Kat Frankes. For this dress I opted for the Lindy B: Long Petticoat Red which is a steal at $49.00. I've been looking for the perfect red petticoat for a while now and I'm loving this style from Lindy B. So light but still adds the right amount of volume to skirts and dresses.

Lorelei Dress in Gray with polka dots - $130.00

Now I have been lusting after the Lorelei for a while now but I've never been too sure if it would suit my curves. But after seeing the bombshell that is Natalie Alvarado wearing it I knew I could rock the figure hugging wiggle dress as well. So I ordered the gray and black polka dot print and eagerly awaited the high collared beauty.

Again in a size XL this dress is amazing fit wise. It slips on like a second skin and holds you in tightly. That tight that I should have opted for a bodysuit version of shapewear and not a corset. As you can see the top and bottom of my underbust show through as the fabric is stretchy and made to hug you in all the right places. Fashion and shapewear can be trail and error so next time I wear this I'll be sure to not wear the corset.

The style is absolutely stunning though and I'm in love with both the style and colour of this dress. Whoever said gray is a drab colour was crazy as I think it works wonderfully on my pale skin, paired with my red locks. The Lorelei is such a great fit around every inch of my body and I'd love to see this high collard style become a top as it's a more modest version in my opinion of the Lauren top and I know a few girls out there have some issues with the deep plunge of the Lauren.

Deadly Dames Tie Me Up dress in black and red fetish print - $136.00

I've been impatiently waiting for the Tie Me Up dress to be restocked so I could add a 3rd item to my Fetish Print collection. I saw a sneaky preview of this fabric years ago and have been crazy about it ever since. Covered in bullet bras, boots, whips, corsets and masks this is the most daring and most stunning print in my collection. The bold black print on the rouge red really pops and the styling possibilities are endless. You can be inspired by the print itself and pair this dress with leather or go a little softer and pair this with angora.

With adjustable straps that tie up on your shoulders this dress can work for a huge amount of bust sizes and can be tightened or loosened when needed. I'm wearing these straps rather high as I've chosen a more full coverage bra and as you can see it pops through ever so slightly. If I chose say a balconette bra or a love plunge it might have a different effect. I was also not able to tie the straps correctly at the time so I'm wearing this style hanging down my back. When I wear this next I'll be sure to practice more and get a perfect pair of bows.

It really is an outstanding dress and the adjustable busts on both the Renee and Tie Me up styles means that you don't necessarily have to have my stats or shape to wear these. You can have a big bust or small and they can still accommodate your curves.

I also wanted to share with you my sparkletastic earrings paired with each outfit during this shoot. I picked up these two stunning pairs of Stardust Confetti earrings at Kat Frankies and they complete each outfit. I'm absolutely head over heels for these stunning earrings and feel fantastic whenever I wear them. Be it dressing up or dressing down I always feel like a million dollars with these babies sparkling in my ear. Be sure to check out all of the range available at Kat Frankies and you can also find Stardust Confetti on Etsy

So now that I've filled 2014 with all of my PUG favourite's it's time to look to the future and plan some new additions to my 2015 wardrobe.

Obviously this year calls for bright colours and some absolutely stunning gothic formal wear. I can't wait to add more items to my collection and see what my girls at Pinup Girl Clothing create in 2015.

Many thanks to my amazing photographer Brooke Orchard for shooting these for me on a muggy and rainy day, it's amazing what we can create in this unpredictable Melbourne weather. I urge any of my readers based in Victoria or Australia to book in a shoot with Brooke this year. If you want to feel amazing and look perfectly pinup she is the best in the business!!

Deco Darling

Corsets and stockings and bras, oh my!

Over the weekend, with Robin Elk Photography by my side I booked into the amazing Maison Burlesque for a traditional pinup shoot! Inspired by their flamingo room I sourced some amazing new stock from my favourite lingerie designers, got dolled up and immersed myself in this stunning location. Now this post is fully of links, details and as much fit information as I can think of but if you have any extra questions please comment below.

With this shoot I wanted to feature my stand out favourites in new season lingerie and give you my readers as much help fit wise as I possibly can! If you are new to my blog you might not be aware of my love affair with the Freya Deco Bra. From the moment I slipped into this style I knew I'd never wear another bra again and since October 2014 I've worn nothing but. I wear the Deco in a size 34GG which works out to be an Australian 12GG. The fit with this style is amazing and I've never felt so supported and comfortable while still being curvy and showing heaps of cleavage.

Paired with the short style bottoms in a size 16 this set is so comfortable to wear and the super soft and stretchy fabric feel like a second skin. Then my absolutely favourite style stockings from Kix'ies the 1940's inspired polka dot thigh highs. I've blogged about these  a few times in the past and my love for these gravity defying stockings has not diminished. Both styles featured in this post are a size D but as of recently I have discovered that depending on the style and stretch I can wear a size C. I'll get into this with a little more detail below.

I paired this stunning set with my new favourite under-bust from Orchard Corset. The CS-426 is my go to corset and I'm growing quite the collection with a few different fabrics and colours in this style (I have the grey version but I'm yet to shoot it!) I adore this style due to the longer length, hip hugging shape and how much it exaggerates my natural hour glass shape.  The cotton hip ties version of the 426 is even more brilliant than the standard version due to the extra element of design. The side ties are both visually pleasing and functional. You can tighten these panels fully and have sexy, vampish style corset or loosen for a more hippy shape or to show a contrasting skirt or dress. Red would pair wonderfully with this style and show off the lacing details.

Now I wear this corset in a size 26 and I can get it very tightly tied but not fully closed. In a month or so I'll have this molded more to my shape and will be able to get close to fully closed after breaking it in and wearing it for more shoots. Each corset I wear at the moment is the same size and I've found that with my hip to waist ratio that the 426 is the perfect fit.

The print on the Freya Deco Darling is absolutely stunning with a vintage rose lace overlay on a pale pink cup. Every inch of this bra is sophisticated, sexy and will make you feel divine. Now this style fits my bust perfectly but due to the corset I seem to be filling the cups a little more than usual. When natural the middle lays flat between each breast and I have complete coverage while still feeling super sexy.

The amazing flamingo wallpaper at Maison Burlesque was the perfect backdrop for these outfits and the room itself was a pinup model's dream! Next time I will shoot some amazing evening gowns in their peacock room.

The Deco Spotlight was my first ever bra in this style and the whole reason for my current addiction - Thank you to my lovely fella for walking the streets of London trying to get me the right bra! I have the original berry colour and now that I own the indigo my life is complete. The same fit as above but with a more subtle print and a stunning deep shade of indigo.

This polka dot set is a must for any pinup's wardrobe. Paired with the Spotlight brief and my well loved Brocade 426. As you can see after I've broken in a corset I can get a much more pronounced shape and if I can get this style close to closed when needed, this is a few inches off closed but I did not want to get too crazy for this shoot.  I love how the floral design pairs perfectly with the indigo bra and brief set, almost like they were made for each other.

Other than the main polka dot print my favourite feature of the Spotlight Deco has to be the contrasting polka dot on the straps, edges and the bow. It's such a subtle but adorable feature.

As mentioned above I've paired both looks with the best stockings on the planet - Kix'ies! These stockings will never let you down as they never roll down! When I first reviewed these thigh highs I wore the size D and I found that I could pull these up really high, sometimes as high as my toosh!
So I've worn them high since purchasing my first pair but I've been wondering if I've been doing it right. So I've now had a chance to try a C and a B in a few styles and I can say that I can wear both the C and D but the C is a great mid thigh height. Great if I want to show a little bit of the stunning top under a short skirt or dress. I'm also 5'7 if you need a reference for how long these might be or how much stretch they have. I'm wearing this mid thigh for the shoot but they go much higher.

The D I love wearing really high under high waisted shorts and the stretchy fabric means you can't tell I'm even wearing thigh highs. But for the fishnet style I can advise you to size down. I fit into both the C and B but I think for comfort I'd much prefer the C for this specific style. I find that most fishnets if done right can be super stretchy and these are perfect. If you are in need of any stockings be it print, plain, for pinup or for work you should ditch those full styles and fill your drawers with Kix'ies. You'll never return to the world of boring stockings I promise you.

Now that is a whole lot of information to absorb! I hope I've helped you with any of your fit issues and I hope you get the chance to try any of these amazing styles. Many thanks to Mr Amazing himself Robin Elk for creating such magic with me! To Brava Australia's leading experts in lingerie for a D cup and up. Orchard Corset for making me curvier and the amazing Maison Burlesque and their stunning venue.

The Lady Is A Vamp

Unless you've been living under a pinup-less fashion rock you would know of the Deadly Dames Vamp style dress and top and how amazing they are for all shapes and sizes. The Vamp was my second purchase from the Deadly Dames line and ever since the first wear I've been addicted to the fit, shape, colours and prints.

While I was in love with the both the red and black version of the Vamp I fell even harder for this style when the previews of dress, top and matching skirt were released. I'm usually not a fan of pink in any way but the stunning floral pattern on the Baton Rouge floral won me over instantly.A deep fuchsia like pink with blue and green mixed within. A great shade for all skin and hair colours! This dress comes with a matching pink belt to cinch in your waist and I can't wait to pair the belt with other dresses and skirts in my collection.

I wear each vamp in a size XL and I've found the fit to be 100% perfect. If at first you find the bust not fitting correctly be sure to adjust the straps like you would your own bra. I can wear this style with or without a bra and still be fully supported. These images were shot by Robin Elk Photography over the weekend.

Now when I saw this range previewed I could not choose between all 3 floral and to be honest I wanted them all! But I chose to purchase one dress and one skirt/vamp top combo so I could have 3 options for outfits. The Cream Floral is by far my favourite and I love the pale floral print paired with my hair colour and fair skin. These two items can be worn as a set or on either owned paired with pink, green or black tops and accessories.

The skirt in the cream floral is an absolute dream to wear. The perfect amount of stretch and firm tightness so it hugs your hips and show's off your curvy waist. The best feature of this skirt has to be the belt loops and contrasting belt. I'm a sucker for anything with belt loops and can't get enough of this design.

This skirt is currently sold out but you can still purchase the top and the cream rose vamp dress! Pink and cream not your colours? Well there is one more print available that might appeal to the extra vampy pinup lovers. The Black Floral Print is a darker version of this floral print, focusing on blacks, greens and pink. I added my leather biker jacket to this outfit to bring a little more rock and roll to the look and I love the combination of floral and leather.

The red polka dot version was my first vamp and together with Jaimie Nicole we photographed it in one of Melbourne's Tiki bars. This was THE dress that started the addiction in 20111 and I've never parted with it. Pairing this with cardigan, bolero's and lace moto jackets this has been worn to death but I treasure it like crazy. I also own the Black version of this dress but oddly enough I've never shot it!

After having such success  I purchased two of the Vamp Tops and loved them just as much as the dress. Starting with the red and black version's they are the best shape for curvy hour glass figures and are amazing on a GG bust. They are long enough to be worn with skirts and jeans but can be tucked into high waisted style bottoms with ease. I've honestly never felt more confident and sexy then when I'm wearing my vamps. The first image was shot by Julz Photography and the second was part of my Plus Model Magazine editorial a few years ago by Jaimie Nicole

Now in my collection I have 3 vamp dresses and 4 tops! I've purchased a few others over the years but found that some colours did not suit my skin tone and that zebra though super cute was not really me. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for my favourite boobie maximizing style and what stunning patters and colour ways are going to be introduced. I'm crossing my fingers and toes for an emerald green and royal blue as the Doris Tops cam out in these shades mid last year.

Swimwear for Curves - Adore Magazine

So this year set myself a goal. I've been writing this blog for 5 years now and I wanted to branch out a little more and see what else I was capable of. Through the help of other blogs and a great local publication I've started writing my own articles and as of Summer 2015, I'm a contributor to Adore Pinup Magazine!

I started my writing year off with a bang and wanted to feature swimsuits that were made for curves. Styles that suit an hourglass figure but can also work on any other body shape (there is nothing better than an adaptable, forever flattering swimsuit!). Now I'm super chuffed to be a part of this and I can't explain how good it feels to not only feature multiple times in this publication for my modeling work but now to be accepted as a writer!

Nadia Desensi did and absolutely brilliant job and creating our vision for these images that went along side the review/article. She is a brilliant wedding and fashion photographer based in Melbourne and you should book her asap! I always feel confident and proud of my shape when I shoot with Nadia. Bellow you will find my review as written in the latest issue. To buy a copy for yourself or to subscribe follow this link.

Summer is here in full swing and it’s time to sort out what we will be wearing to the beach.  Beating the heat can be a little harder when you are a curvier girl, though.  Finding the right style to fit your bust, waist and hip measurements can be a nightmare for clothes in general, but when it comes to swimsuits, a busty lass with a small waist can be lost in a sea of swimwear.

Over the last few years I’ve fallen in love with brands from around the globe, and I’ve come across many who specifically design for curvy shapes and bigger busts.  However, this year I found out that my swimwear designer of choice is no longer in the game.  This just wouldn’t do; I needed a swimsuit for summer and I needed it fast.  I focused my search on Australian-based companies who specialise in curves with a retro flair.  I discovered two great brands that fulfil my needs both fit-wise and style-wise and I’m absolutely thrilled to share these options with other curvy girls.

The first suit I found was the Robyn Lawley ‘Almost French’ 50’s one piece in black, priced at $194.95.  Designed by Australia’s ‘IT’ girl in plus size modelling, this suit is created to fit a curvier shape and is stocked in sizes 10 to 20.  Every girl needs a black one piece swimsuit – it’s the LBD of the swimwear world.  With the ‘Almost French’ suit, you have the classic shape of a black one piece, coupled with amazing black lace and power mesh to mould on to those curves.

The stand out feature of this stunning suit has to be the cage bra attachment above the moulded cups, which works brilliantly on a D/DD bust, and even a GG size which I happen to be.  You can also adjust both the straps and the back, much like you would with a bra, to get the perfect fit.  I’m wearing this suit in a size 18 as I was advised to size up due to the lack of stretch in the lace.

Close up view of the stunning floral fabric!

However, after wearing it for a day, I can say that I would be more suited to a size 16, due to it being a little roomy on my waist and bust after a few hours of wear.  If you are a standard size 16 with a DD chest, be sure to stick with your usual size.  Beyonce, the Queen of Curves, chose to wear this suit in white in her music video for ‘No Angel’, and you can purchase this suit in that exact colourway, in addition to black and navy.

I also stumbled upon Sirens Swimwear in my swimwear search.  They are another local and inspiring swimwear company focusing on the styles of the 50s and 60s; a time when everyone wanted to be curvy, elegant and feminine.  That being said, their main focus is to make every woman – both thin and thick, big and small – feel beautiful, and that really appeals to me.  With Sirens Swimwear you will feel like a silver screen goddess.  Sirens have an amazing range of styles and so many super cute takes on a bikini and a one piece design.  Packed with ruffles, skirts, padding or no padding, there are options for each and every shape!

With my curves in mind, I chose the one suit that shone the most brightly to me – the ‘Lizzie’ in Wild Berry, priced at $189.00.  ‘Lizzie’ is an absolute masterpiece of design and retro sophistication, offering amazing ruching, moulded cups in a sweetheart shape, and thick, supportive straps.  These features make for a figure-hugging shape, perfect to show off an hourglass figure, as the suit moulds to your curves and supports larger busts.  This style also helps create curves if you are not blessed with them!  I’m wearing the ‘Lizzie’ in a size Large, which is a 14 to 16.

The fit is on point and I really adore the berry and navy combo on my pale skin.  Sirens Swimwear offer items in sizes 8 to 20 (or, as listed, XS to XL), so no matter what size or shape you are or what prints you love, you’ll find the perfect swimmers for you!  The ‘Lizzie’ is also available in Navy Polka Dot, Cocktail Black, Aqua Pin Stripe, Red and White Candy Stripe, Aqua Flora and Blue and White Stripe

I’ve paired both of these amazing suits with my silk brush print kimono from 17 Sundays.  It’s been my go-to beach cover up for many years.  While this style is sold out, you can purchase beach appropriate kaftans and kimonos everywhere this season.  I love mixing bold colours and geometric prints with darker suits and bikinis to create my ultimate beach look!

If you have any issues finding a suit in your size you can find the stockists for Robyn Lawley's range here . Sirens Swimwear can be found via their website and across all social media so be sure to add both of these amazing companies on Facebook and Instagram.

The Inbetween Ring!

Back in January 2014, my love popped the question with a stunning vintage ring and I've been mesmerized by it ever since.

This ring is me to a T but getting a wedding ring to pair with it was not something we even thought about in the beginning. To made my engagement ring work with a wedding ring we are getting two bands attached to the this existing ring and creating an even more stunning, thicker design!

But the thought of not wearing this till April is really getting to me and I've come up with a solution - The Inbetweenie ring! I'm looking for a ring to wear prior to the wedding while my ring is being created and then I can add this to the many I wear weekly after the wedding. On my search for such a ring I stumbled across Emma and Roe the sister brand to Michael Hill and I've already fallen in love with their stack rings. I love the height of my original ring and would love to go the stacking option to make a larger ring.

My eye was instantly drawn to the stack rings and of course the stirling silver styles. I've never been a fan of gold and the silver cubic zirconia, diamond or cats eye mix is my go to combo. I love the bold black shape on the silver band and would love one bigger stacker ring for the middle of the style I'm creating.

Then a little bit of faux bling for the mix! Because this is an inbetweenie style I'm not going to spend way too much on real diamonds and more over the tops styles. I love the simple shapes created in this ring and it would work alone or with others.

Then another all silver band for the bottom or top of the stack. Similar to the style shown above but this time the design is created with the silver itself and not with stones. I think all 3 will work wonderfully my left hand and be a great filler until my wedding day.

But then again there is one more option if I can find more funds in my wedding budget :

On the more pricier side of the stacker rings is this stunning style. Packed with 1/2 a carat of Diamonds in 10c white gold. I'd love to add this to my collection but for now I think I can only dream of this style while we save and pay for our wedding!

Emma and Roe have a 'How to Stack' guide on their website so you can gather ideas or inspiration and go wild with patterns.

I'm really loving the 4 or 5 stacked high styles and the mixture of different colours. The possibilities are endless and and I can't wait to create my own mixture. Have any of you, my lovely readers, tried this trend yet? I'm really interested to know how other people work the layered/stacked look.

Winter Lust List #1

It's that time of the year once again when I'm searching the web looking for the perfect new additions to my wardrobe. As we enter Autumn I'm already looking one season ahead and I've started compiling my Winter lust list. To to be honest there are way too many items I'm lusting after for the chilly season so I will be sorting the 'Lust Lists' into style groups and sharing them with you over the next few months!

I already have a huge winter coat collection and, well, let's face it, an outerwear addiction, but I'm still hunting for a few more pieces for winter 2015! I've found some brilliant items at a website I've only just stumbled across - Izabel London. A UK based fashion site with super cheap shipping to both Australia and New Zealand!

Now I have a wardrobe full of coloured coats in pinks, maroon, prints and more but I'm really lacking in either plain black or black with contrasting fabrics. So here is my current lust list :

Absolutely in love with this contrasting trim coat in black with an almost tween looking textured print! Such classic tailoring that works for all outfits and all body shapes. I love the bold print and black panels and the shape they create. A perfect coat to keep me warm and wear to work all winter.
This style is available up to a size 14 and I find that I can wear UK14 coats with ease.

I'm a absolute sucker for studs and this style has so many of the features I'm looking for. Studs in silver (I don't really suit bronze or gold) PU detailing at the waist, big buttons and hits mid thigh.  Another perfect style for both work or play! I tend to dress my winter coats up or down depending on how cold it might get. This style also goes up to a size 14.

I may own 4 biker jackets already but this minor detail does not stop me from lusting after more. I'm smitten over this style due to the unique quilted texture on the arms. I've yet to purchase a quilted biker jacket yet and this definitely needs to be in my collection. Available up to a size 14.

In need of something larger than a 14? Well Izabel London have a brilliant plus size section as well. This first coat from the plus collection to catch my eye was this double collared leopard print biker. Such a brilliant print and would look amazing with black skinny jeans or disco pants. Loving the glam rock vibe this jacket has and would love to style it. Available in size 18+.

Then finally the one coat every women needs when the weather cools down - a double breasted hooded black coat. This style pairs with everything and can be worn to work, out to the snow, out for coffee or even to keep you warm on an evening out. The super warm lining means you don't have to layer too much and you can pair this with your favourite gloves, scarves and berets. I'm loving the hood feature as I can't get enough of hoods over winter.

So there you have it! These are my stand out favourite styles for the cooler months ahead but there are so many more to choose from with more colours and prints. I'm also loving the price tags as I very rarely spend over $120 for a winter coat and with shipping these are a steal!

Kat Frankies!

You might have noticed a the last few months that I've been addicted to super sparkly earrings from Kat Frankies and all of their other amazing accessories. I only found this little pinup/vintage mecca late last year but it's now my go to online store for a little bit of everything!

From jewelry, hair scarves, clothing, petticoats, makeup and more you will find anything and everything on their website. I'm currently smitten over the Demi Loom tops they stock which are on sale!

Now as a girl that's not afraid to show a little skin and a whole lot of cleavage I adore a good 3/4 low cut boobie top and the Pinup Top is perfect for my hour glass shape. The plunging sweetheart neckline and rouched section in the middle makes a brilliant shape and suits larger busts perfectly.

I opted to get a plain black version and the stunning whiskey rose print. Both suit my collection of swing and pencil skirts and look great tucked into super high waists. But due to my hourglass hippy shape they are a little too short to wear with high waisted jeans.

I'm wearing this style in a size L/XL and I found it to be a perfect yet skin tight fit. If you want a little more room of need a little more give then there is also a 2X/3X option available. They are super stretchy and hug my curves in all of the right places but size up if you are worried about the stretching of print etc.

There are a few more stunning colour options and prints available online right now!

I definitely need the Dexi Dot version in my life as I love the lack and polka dot combination and the Electric blue is stunning. So be sure to check out the Demi Loon range and more of what Kat Frankies has to offer. I'm loving their huge range of Erstwilder brooches at the moment and they have the new season stock! I've currently got my eye on 2 stunning Lindy B dresses and more Stardust confetti earrings so I best start compiling a lust list.

Many thanks to the brilliant Brad Blake Photography! Not only is he a talented photographer but a brilliant baker (mmmm chocolate cake memories) and I hope to work with him again this year!

Well hello Mr Fancy Pants

A few weeks back the brilliant Michael Alesich and I roamed around my neighbourhood and snapped some shots of my stand-out favourite items from Sourpuss! It's fair to say that I have a life long addiction to this brilliant company and I adore their web store (I can get lost on there for a few hours) and each and every season I'm blown away by their new styles and designs.

The items in this set of images are from 2014 but you can still purchase these both via the web store of from any of the other online shops I've lined below each image. In the next few months I'll be able to shoot some new stock from the 2015 Spring/Fall season and update you with all the exciting new designs.

Being a huge fan of the western dresses in this stretch flannel fabric for the last 2 seasons it was a must to have the shirt version in my collection. The Dolly top is a super stretchy and soft western style button up in a bold black and white gingham with red buttons, piping and horse shoe motif's. The soft and very stretchy fabric makes this shirt perfect for larger busts and can be worn tied up or down. I'm wearing each item in this post in a size XL and with this style I find the fit to be perfect and very much like the western dresses.

If you ever have issues with button popping or gaping this is the shirt for you. I'm a 34GG and this sits perfectly over my bust.

This is definitely not a summer fabric though as it's thick and very warm so I suggest pairing it with jeans and skirts in the cooler months. I've been wearing this with skinny jeans and cowboy boots on cooler days and my favourite leather jacket. It's so comfy yet so cute and I hope that, like the dress version, it comes out in different colours and motifs eventually. Usually I'd be a little worried about so much print on my upper body but when worn tied up or tucked in I find this style rather flattering.

SOURPUSS OMNI VARSITY JACKET (SOLD OUT! Check Dollskill link)  - $54.00

After falling hard for my Anchors Aweigh varsity jacket last year it was obvious that any new style or print was needed in my life. The Omni was a new print for 2014 and features a a different colour way, white sleeve and skull print on the back. Sold out via Sourpuss but you can pick one up at Dollskill here for $48.50! Lined with the softest of fabric this baby will keep you cosy all winter.

I'm such a sucker for the Varsity style and love how it compliments my curves. Being an hourglass I usually show my chest and never cover up but when it cools down and you have to dress for a chilly Melbourne winter a zip up high neck is needed! I adore the close fit and how the thick fabric hugs my curves without adding bulk. This winter I'll be wearing this one to death!

This is my first Bella cardigan from Sourpuss but I've been eyeing them off for a while. I'm usually a full length or 3/4 sleeve kind of girl but when I saw this atomic style ruffled number I needed it in my life. I love the atomic sputnik embroided motifs on each side of the chest and the ruffles with the edition of lace. The sleeve I'm still a bit iffy about as I think it's a little unflattering on my upper arms but I do love every other detail.

With the XL I found the buttons a little too pulled for my liking so if you have a bust bigger than 40 inches then I'd suggest moving up to a XXL. I paired the Bella with the amazing Bad Girl Scarf in the Switchblades print. I'm loving the selection of prints available in these scarves and they are great for neckerchiefs or hair scarves. Every print and colour way will be in my collection eventually, I need more options for every day wear and for photo shoots.

The Vivienne dress is a fantastic little version of the VavaVoom dress with 3/4 sleeves! Now I've searched high and low for this style as it's sold out and can't find the gray print online anymore. After a few searches I've found the Navy Dot and the Cherry print so if you like the style and fit these might be perfect for you. I found the fit in an XL perfect for my bust, arms and waits but I'd not be game to size down. So if you are a little smaller than me the Large will be perfect.

If this style is restocked at Sourpuss I will update this post asap!

(SOLD OUT AT SP! Check links bellow for stockists)

I'm in love with Fancypants - now that's something I never though I'd write at any point in my blogging career! But it's true and the Fancypants coat is one of the best style winter coats I've worn in years. A new spin on the plain black coat with striking white piping and buttons. The white features draw you eye to the sleek lines of this coat and works wonderfully on my curves. Made from a stretch rayon/spandex fabric the coat stretches to fit your curves and hug your body. The stretch also gives you the option to layer cardigans and jumpers beneath and the room arm's offer lots of space for long sleeved items.

We shot this in black and white to show just how stunning the coat is on its own but in reality it's still as bold and strong. The coat is also lined with a blood red silky fabric which makes it just as appealing button up or worn undone.

Now don't fear just because this style is sold out online via the Sourpuss website. Bellow I've linked all the places you can purchase this wonderful coat and the other colour ways of leopard and red.

Black Fancypants Coat  (UK) - £44.99
Black Fancypants Coat (Unique Vintage) - $90.00

What do you pair with a super stylish black and white coat? The Deadly Deville purse in houndstooth of course! I already own the black and beige version of this purse and use all week as it's the perfect size for everything I need to get me through a work day. My last two handbags have been Sourpuss and I find they are brilliant accessories as well as being solid and long lasting.
The Deadly Deville in Hounds tooth is stunning and stylish and has a very old world vibe about it. The 60's inspired shape and print gives a sleek and classy feel to this purse and the size is brilliant. Measuring 18" X 10" X 5" this purse can accommodate all of your essential items for work or play. The larger size of this bag means you can also use this as an overnight travel bag! I've used this to store outfits for a night away and it's really amazing just how much fits inside.

The larger size of this bag means you can also use this as an overnight travel bag! I've used this to store outfits for a night away and it's really amazing just how much fits inside.

Many thanks to the my brilliant friend and photographer Michael Alesich for taking these images. I think we have mastered the art of bag/shoe and leg photography on this post. I can't wait to shoot the next set with you!

La Belle Hèroine has arrived at Wheels & Dollbaby! A stunning Autumn/Winter collection filled stunning knits, new prints and twist on existing designs. From soft pink florals to bold statement pieces with military inspiration this season has something for everyone. Released today this cool weather collection has stolen my heart with it's colour palette, fabric choices and accessories.

What's even more exiting about this collection is that more items are available up to a size 16 (Australian) than with any other season! I've worn and wear anything from a size 12 to a 16 in their products so this is super exciting for all the other curvy girls out there! For more details on size please check out my Classic Dollbaby post  where I reviewed a variety of sizes and styles from an earlier collection.

I've been holding onto these images for a few weeks and have been dying to share them so here are the stunning campaign shots for the La Belle Hèroine range

Such a stunning mini dress with simply stated military features. Perfect for pairing with stockings and knee high lace up boots when the weather cools down. Available up to a size 1

I'm an absolute sucker for a beautifully tailored familiarity style coat and the Sgt. Peppers Jacket ticks every box and then some. A flattering shape for my curves, bold colours and detailing and paired with the matching leggings makes a brilliant outfit.

This seasons new print is a super soft and sweet pink orchard design which will win over many hearts. The Kit Kat Klub dress is the essential mini dress for all of you pink lovers out there and it's simple yet sleek design hugs you in all the right places.

LARA STONE GOWN - $535.00

This gown will blow your socks off!! I can't explain how amazing this is but I will be reviewing it next month so I'll be zipping my lip until then.

SINGAPORE FLING DELIGHT DRESS - $420.00 Available up to a size 14

The Singapore Fling Delight dress offers a more modern take on the oriental style dress of yesteryear. Pairing the soft pink orchard print with black buttons and sheer netting creates a more sexy and sophisticated style. If you love the shape but not the pink print you can also purchase this in all black.

This catsuit is AMAZING! I've never been one to really consider wearing a catsuit but this almost wench style bust line, deep corseted v and super stretchy yet structured fabric have me thinking and planning.

My stand out favourite items from this season are as follows :

KNIT MOTORCYCLE JACKET - $285.00 Available up to a size 16
TIE SILHOUETTE DRESS - $325.00 Available up to a size 16
SGT. DOLLBABY CARDIGAN - $155.00 Available up to a size 16

These styles will definitely be in my collection this season and hopefully if I'm a good girl I'll be able to get the Motorcycle Jacket for my Birthday! Now this is just as taste of the new collection so be sure to check out all of these styles via the Wheels & Dollbaby website. I will be reviewing and shooting many of the new season items so look out for an image packed, in detail review of my stand out favourites at the end of March. I hear there might be an editorial in the works too - wink, wink!

If you have any questions please comment below and I will help you with any styles or fit related information or you can email the store or their facebook page as they are super friendly and there to help you!

So finally I need to know - What is your stand out must have in this collection?

Gilda The Great!

Last year I heard a little birdy mention that Pinup Girl Clothing were designing full length gowns and I have been watching their web store ever since to see what was to come! When the Gilda Gowns were released I instantly squealed with excitement hoping one day I could wiggle into one of these stunning velvet gowns, today is that day!

The Laura Byrnes Gilda Gown is one of the most alluring and most figure flattering gowns I've ever owned. Made from lush stretch velvet this gown molds to your curves and creates the most stunning shape. This dress is high glamour and full of sex appeal evoking the style of silver screen goddesses and even film noir femme fatales.

I was blown away when I first wore the Monica Dress but I have to admit this is now my all time favourite design. In a size XL the Gilda fits like a glove and hugs and emphasizes all your bust curves! The internal bengaline shaper is the hidden secret to the perfect fit and shape that this gown provides. Holding you in at the waist, smoothing out all lumps and bumps white hiding any middle section issues. With this dress you really need it to be a close fit but because of the build in shapewear I stuck with my usual size in PUG dresses. With super stretchy garments I usually size down but given that I own 2 Monica dresses I knew that this would fit like a dream.

The deep V bust line creates amazing cleavage as you can see and the bust can accommodate my GG cup chest. Pinup Girl Clothing is always brilliant for boobies! The black velvet fabric is so smooth and I can't keep my hands off it. I've had this same touchy feely reaction with my Deadly Dames Film Noir dresses as they are as so smooth. I'm dying to style this with the fishnet Lilith Jacket for even more of a wow factor.

I feel like a gothic inspired Jessica Rabbit in this gown and can't wait to have the right event to wear it to. Our location for the shoot was the iconic Arts Centre Melbourne and walking through the lush red and gold interior I felt like I was on the red carpet.  A central creative mecca for all things music, comedy, opera and ballet related and filled to the brim with amazing artwork. If you have not attended any events at the Arts Centre you have to book some tickets asap. Many thanks to the amazing PR team and my lovely friend Kat for setting up this location for us.

This style is also available in 2 other colour options and one print.

Then if you want more of a cocktail dress you can also purchase the Gilda Dress in 2 colours and one print. I will be picking up the Burgundy to wear all through winter! I really hope that there are more colour options in the future as I'd kill for a deep forest or emerald green version of this style.

Pigtails and Pirates

From bright, bold and fun fabrics to soft pastels and floral, Pigtails and Pirates represents a brand that lets you express your individual style!

This week I'm featuring a home grown amazing designer - Laura Jones the brain behind Pigtails and Pirates. Originally started as a children's clothing company, Pigtails and Pirates have expanded into a ladies wear line focusing on 1950's silhouette in bright and unique fabrics.

I've never envisioned myself if a pale blue floral print but there was something that drew me strongly to this super feminine and soft fabric. When I first slipped into this beautifully crafted swing dress I was instantly in love with the fit. With slightly high sweetheart neck (for my cleavage), fitted waist an thick strap the Spring Fling is a spring and summer dress dream. I'm wearing this style in a size 16 and it's very true to the size chart and even a little roomy in the waist. The fabric is soft cotton and features a fully lined bodice and invisible zip.

Now this is one hot designer it seems within the pinup blogging community and I really do adore how this style both fits and flatters ever body shape. I've seen many girls shooting this style on it's own so for my shoot I wanted to pair it up with the accessories I would wear with it on a regular basis. I chose red and teal shades to compliment the print and pale blue fabric. I love how well the red pops with this shade of blue and I can't wait to find more cardigans and boleros to match.

Please try to ignore the wrinkles on my never wrinkle sweater as I rushed from the clothes line to my shoot and the pegs seem to have left a mark. For any images of the sweater as it would normally look please click the link below the first image.

The dress is even that cute it works in black and white! There are many more prints and colour ways in this stunning style and a few different necklines and skirt varieties. So if pale blue floral with butterflies is not your style then don't fear! These are my current favorites in the range :

Summer Delight - $199.00

Something sweet, something geeky and an absolutely stunning yellow floral print would be amazing editions to my wardrobe. I love the fit of this dress so much that I will be getting more in the future and I can't wait to shoot maybe one of the above with more perfectly picked accessories.

This style would also look amazing with the addition of a 3/4 length sleeve for the cooler months of the year. I wonder if there are any plans in the works?

Thank you to Alesich Photography for these brilliant images and such a fun afternoon in the summer sun and wind - my fringe never had a chance!

La Belle Hèroine Review

Late last month I announced the arrival of  La Belle Hèroine the A/W 2015 range from Wheels & Dollbaby. This month I had the pleasure of shooting some of the new pieces in larger sizes so I could help all my curvy size 14/16 Dollbabies out with fit and style choices.

Last week Brooke Orchard and I traveled down to the most stunning little gem hidden at the base of Mt. Macedon - Gardens of Tieve Tara to shoot for this review and for a winter editorial to feature in Adore Pinup Magazine. This stunning location was the perfect backdrop for the new autumn/winter range and the gardens are simply divine. The dream location with Melbourne's best - such a brilliant day!

Now this season is full of stunning items that have my heart but with a few style left for the editorial and some still on preorder I opted for some of the new colours and prints. Featuring pale colours usually I braved soft sweet pinks and creams for this shoot and I loved it! Now each item shown in this blog is a size 14. Some styles do got up to a 16 and I will state the size range on each item.

The La Babe cardigan was a style I did not expect to work with my colouring and shape. A short wool knitted cardigan in a soft cream colour way and delicate pearl buttons. I'd usually run away from such a pale knit but this is a dream to wear and is super soft, stretchy and feels amazing on your skin. This specific style is available up to a size16 and it can be buttoned up or worn open. This cardigan is perfect for the cooler months ahead and will look amazing paired with tops and dresses, layering other knits etc.

I paired the La Babe cardigan with the Singapore Fling Pencil Skirt in black. This style is a new season update of the classic Dollbaby pencil skirt. Made from stretch satin at the front and  matte black stretch ponti on the back this style hugs you tight, holds you in and creates an amazing shape. Featuring a high waist (perfect for pairing with shirts, tees and knits) side button features and a cute leg popping feature at the knees this skirt is perfect for hours glass shapes and is sexy and comfortable - how rare is that? I found the fit to be close to the IRMA LA DOUCE PENCIL SKIRT of which I'm a huge fan of. Out of the two I'm actually more of a fan of the Irma than this style. I think the option of being able to button up or down the thigh is more my style and the length is a little shorter for me due to my hips and ample rear. I'm wearing all skirts in this post in a size 14.

ORCHID SWEATER - $159.00

Completely out of my comfort zone again but this time in Pink! Very rarely in this blog do you see me in such a shade but I've been trying hard overt the last few years to break out of my own styling boundaries and give colour more chances. Now looking at these image and how well it pairs with my skin tone I'm wondering why I didn't try it earlier.

The Orchard Sweater is a new style print on one of Wheels & Dollbaby's most popular knits. Now I owned and have worn many knitted styles from Wheels such as the Dita, the Signature logo, Dinner with Him cardigans and the oversized sweaters so it's only natural to try a crop version. This is the only item in this post that goes up to a size 16 and I'm wearing the 14 in this image. All knits for this season and the next will be available up to a 16!

The Orchard Sweater is a soft, figure hugging, super stretchy knit in a new season print. The cropped style was created to emphasize your curves nip you in at the smallest part of your waist. I was very silly and did not wear my corset on this shoot which would have made this style pop even more!

The two features I love most about this top are the adorable black bow on the neckline and the fact that when stretched the print does not morph or look odd. That is my main concern as I have a very large bust. This style is adorable and suits high waisted skirts perfectly. After trying this style I think I'd love to try any other style that comes out in the future be it a print or another colour way and I will start with the Leopard Post Girl Sweater

I can try colour but I will always gravitate to all black and this is by far my favourite outfit from the new season. Sleek and form fitting, sexy and so very much my style! The La Boheme Lace shirt is a dream come true in super stretch black lace. I have always had issues finding a button up that fits my waist, bust and arms and this is the 3rd shirt that fits like a dream and all 3 are from Wheels & Dollbaby. This style looks and feels amazing and you can pair this with skirts, dresses and layer with cardigans or knits. The fabric is trans seasonal so your styling options are endless.

I paired the La Boheme skirt with what is fast becoming my the best pencil skirt I've ever worn. The Sgt. Dollbaby pencil skirt is AMAZING! This limited edition style won my hear with its military gold trim, always amazing stretch ponti fit and fitted waist. Once you slip into this skirt you will never want to take it off. I've worn my Essential Logo skirt for years now and this is now my new favourite. Both styles available up to a size 14.

I love how paired with the black lace shirt this almost looks like a new style military dress. My favorite styles from this season have to be each of the military inspired items. My new Bordello Teeze Black Velvet platform heels are absolutely perfect with this outfit and they come with stunning shoe clips that can be taken on or off depending on your outfit. It's two shoes for the price of one! I can't wait to shoot these more and like all Teeze styles they are a dream to wear. For a matching boot option you can also find the perfect Ringmaster style bellow at Shoe Me Georgous on sale for $105! A perfect style for the upcoming chilly Melbourne weather!

I will be featuring more of these within the next month so be sure to keep checking back here and look for a review of the new season coats in Adore Pinup. We shot some amazing styles for the winter review and I can't wait to share them with you!!

Finally if you ever find yourself in Melbourne take a little drive down to the Gardens of Tieve Tara I instantly fell in love with their stunningly landscaped little piece of heaven and need to get back there asap for picnics. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the ducks for having us on your stunning grounds.

New from Rimmel

Some new goodies have hit the makeup market from Rimmel London and I wanted to share my top 3 favourite new products! With a strong focus on Matte finishes in both lips and nails and a bold black lash these new products have my makeup bag written all over them.

Since I have little to no interest in wearing or using Lime Crime these days, so I've been testing many new matte styles to see what's hit the market and how they stack up. I've been aware of the Apocalips Lipsticks but I've never had the chance to try them. So when the Apocalips Matte Lip Velvet's were released I jumped at the chance to try a pale pink nude and red hot shade.

I chose the colours I wear the most so I went for 206 Atomic Rose and 505 Burning Lava. These colours are perfect for my skin tone and I love the soft feel and texture of the lipstick. These are described as matte but they are not a matte lip like a Velvetine. They are a matte version of the Apocalips style but will not dry your lips out or bleed into any cracks or crevices.

They did stump me a little at first but after a second try and after looking at a few tutorials I discovered that the key for this product is to let it dry and set which takes a lot longer that I would have expected. Once it is dry you will not longer notice the lipstick is on your lips as it feels so soft and barely there. It dries soft but is half way between a matte lipstick and a dewy style gloss like the original lipstick.

After eating a full meal and a few kisses it still remains but touch ups are needed. I like this style best for wearing to work as it lasts all day and the colours are perfect for my natural daily makeup look. I also took advantage of the latest Priceline sale and picked up Meteoric Matte for my collection. I'll be testing it out tomorrow.

Because I'm still in love with my Scandleyes Rocking Curves Mascara I was keen to try the Idol Eye's version as it has the same broken heart shape brush and blackest black colouring. It's now my go to mascara and has taken place over my previous love. It's goes on thick without clumping, makes my lashes long and dark and I just adore the wired brush and curved shape. I won't bore you with images of my lashes as I have in the past but I swear this is the BEST mascara they have created so far. I've tried so many over the years but I always go back to Rimmel.

Finally an affordable matte nail polish that really works! I've loved the look of this style polish for a while now but I've never been sure if it really works. It certainly does and it's brilliant. It dries completely matte and looks delisous in Velvet Touch (grey) and Matte-Itude (black) it's a really unique and bold choice for nails and looks great on both your feet and hands.

Now I've got tiny little nails (stress biter) but when I get married next month I'm going to wear Matte-Itude on the day with my new claws! For swatches please view Emily Denise Photography's blog review about these styles and see just how lovely they are up close on perfect nails.

I'm so excited to have these new styles in my collection and every time there is a brilliant new Rimmel product I will be reviewing and posting about it.

DKNY Sunglasses - Review and Giveaway!!!!

If you follow me on all forms of social media, you might have discovered that I have an addiction to sunglasses. I have over 20 pairs (and only one head!) and constantly update my collection with a new style, colour or print. I usually share all of my sunglasses purchases on Instagram but the latest addition to my collection deserves a full review as it's my new stand out favourite!

I've been a fan of Sunglasses Shop for a few years now as they have a huge selection of designer brand shades at great prices. With great service, super fast shipping and one of the best search functions I've used in years, I've found my go-to one stop sunglasses shop. This year I've been hunting for a really good catseye style black pair of shades but I've found most too small or overly pointy.

The search is over!!! I took a gamble on the shape and size and it paid off! These stunning DKNY cats eye frames are absolutely scrumptious. The perfect size and fit for my heart shaped face and just big enough to cover lots of space. I'm a sucker for large style frames but I never want anything too comical. These are perfect!

With a grey lens and black frame this is my daily pair of shades. The design is so simple and flawless as it pairs wonderfully with everything in my wardrobe and with all hair and makeup choices.

The website itself will even tell you what hair colours and face shapes each pair will suit - how brilliant is that? This style also comes with it's own lightweight glasses case and cleaning cloth.

I'm being so very careful with these babies and I want to wear them forever. This style also comes in a tortoiseshell print if black is not your go to shade.

Now for the part you've been waiting for. The lovely folk at Sunglasses Shop have one been kind enough to offer a pair of DKNY sunglasses of your choice for one of my lucky readers!!!! Forever sunglasses crazy!

So it's clear to all my readers and to anyone who has seen my already huge collection that I'm sunglasses crazy! It's an addiction I'm not afraid to admit I have and just his week I've found yet another brilliant online store full of great brands, a safe shopping environment and good prices. I stumbled across sunglasses online store GranOptic and I'm absolutely smitten with their selection.

This shop is full of big brand names like Mui Mui, Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, Prada and even Oakley Sunglasses! I've had my eye on a few designer styles recently and lucky for me all are here at GranOptic. My personal choice in sunglass styles might be varied when it comes to colours, patterns and prints but there are two very clear shapes that I'm drawn to and here are my stand out favourites!

 Miu Miu MU 02QS - $306.27

Miu Miu stole my heart long ago but now that the open bottom cats eye bejeweled sunglasses have been released the love affair has started again. With a modern twist on what can only be described as a Vampira-esque shape these specs are bold and draw a whole lot of attention for all of the right reasons. In black with a hint of sparkle from a selection of black jewels.

Solid silver, striking shape and a retro-futurism feel these Top Fords will make any pinup outfit elevated to the next level. There is always something so striking and fresh about polished silver and the makeup pairing with these frames will be super fun.

Art Deco inspired design on a bold over sized frame? TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!! I'll never be able to walk past anything Alexander McQueen and not fall in love with it. A completely unique design in silver once again but with an amazingly intricate pattern. I need these as soon as humanly possible and I'm fairly sure that my life won't be complete until they are part of my collection.

Prada PR 31QS - $370.75

Then finally a little punk rock from Prada! This is basically my dream leather jacket in sunglasses form and it's HOT! Bold silver spikes cover this pair of cats eye glasses and create the perfect accessory for any pinup that's a little punk rock.

Winter Shoe Lust List

As we near the tail end of Autumn I'm sitting her on my laptop, nursing a cup of tea and hunting across the internet and globe for some winter shoes to add to my collection. With patterns, unique styles and warming boots in mine I've found some brilliantly fancy footwear and created my latest lust list.

I'm a sucker for a bright, unique and kitchy style accessory and these awesome flats from Mod Cloth have stolen my heart. JC has created a pencil shoe that is funky and absolutely adorable. I can see these paired with skinny jeans or with tights and skater dresses as the weather cools.

While searching I came across Union Jack Boots, the mecca for all Dr Marten footwear and fell for the Becca Boot. A black calf high winter boot with everything a girl needs. In my teens I adored my 8 up Dr Martens and I like this style as a more grown up take of the boot. The silver buckle details and small heel make this perfect for work of casual outfits.

In winter I tend to wear a lot of darker colours so the main pop of colour seen will be my accessories. I'm smitten with this electric blue hue on the Alma Blue Court Shoe and want them on my feet asap. The stunning bright colour pairs perfectly with a matching clutch and complimenting colours. I can see these worn with black disco pants and a fitted black blazer or moto jacket.

For the last few years the JC Lita boot has been my go to style for winter and to pair with skinny jeans. These babies may look tall but the platform to heel ratio makes these the most comfortable shoe on earth. Over the years I've had suede, plaid, spiked and patterned but I think this season calls for a more earthy tone and I love this shade of grey. These will look amazing with black of charcoal skinnies.

Then lastly what I hope to be my new work hees are the Bettie-22 from Shoe Me Gorgeous. I've always had a soft spot for a t-bar shoe and this bold white and black pump has to be on my lust list. The great thing about this style is that you can pair it with both retro and modern styles and it suits both. This style also comes in a matte brown and black version and is just as stunning.

What's on your winter lust list for footwear? What boots are you lusting over the season?

SGT. DOLLBABY

At the end of February, I shared my stand out favourites from the La Belle Heroine range and then quickly followed this with a full review of more items from that range, but there was one stand out item that was not in my hands in time for that review, and I waited ever so impatiently for it to arrive - The Sgt. Dollbaby Cardigan!

When I was told about the new range the phrase that stuck out most is that it would be 'full of Teer-style items' and when I got the previews I was blown away with all of the military style, figure hugging items.

The one item that blew me away was this stunning military inspired cardigan with all the trimmings. Made from super stretchy black knit adorned with gold buttons, embroided stars and gold piping this cardigan is the perfect mix of strong military styling with feminine figure hugging shapes. One of my favourite features has to be the stand up collar which is unique to the W&DB range of knitwear.

Now if you follow all of my Wheels & Dollbaby reviews you will know that I can wear anything from a size 10 to a 16. But for this item I went for a 16 so that there would be no pull on the buttons and extra room for my large bust. It's a perfect fit all over yet a little roomy on the lower half of the 3/4 length sleeve which I assume is due to the piping feature.

The Sgt. Dollbaby cardi has now become a wardrobe staple for me as the weather gets chilly and looks amazing with everything from wiggle skirts to full swing styles and pairs wonderfully with high waisted black skinny jeans. My only accessory on this shoot was a simple black beret but I'm dying to get my hands on some vintage military caps to pair with this look. So if you are sitting on the fence with this new style cardigan I urge you to get this ASAP! I could have sized down if I wanted to wear this open as it's super stretchy and there are still 14's in stock via the online store.

Leopard Day Dress  - $310.00

While shooting this amazing cardigan, I had to sneak in my new favourite dress for Autumn/Winter which is the Leopard Day Dress. I was searching high and low for a super cute dress to wear to my Hucks (hens/bucks) day/evening and this little leopard number ticked all the boxes.

Made from a plush stretch leopard jersey that fits like a second skin, the day dress is a almost like the Dita Cardigan in dress form. With the iconic peter pan collar and velvet bow tie combination this style falter both small and large sized bust. I'm wearing this dress in a size 14 and I was blow away by the fit! For this photo shoot I chose to show a little cleavage but this dress also buttons up with no issues over my GG chest which is usually unheard of. So if you have a large bust there are so many options to choose from at Wheels & Dollbaby. My favourite way of styling this dress is to pair it with stunning black stockings, berets and leather driving gloves and it works both day and night.

Many thanks to the always brilliant and super fun to work with Rom Anthonis for collaborating with me for this shoot and I can't wait to work with you again!

Recently I have fallen head over heels for two amazing items at Pinup Girl Clothing. I've been dreaming up outfits and styling ideas, thinking of what accessories would suit them perfectly and if they would rock my curves in all the right ways.

Well I finally got my hands on my two most lusted after pieces and they are just as amazing as I expected them to be! Usually when styling myself I tend to go for one style or theme but for these items I went in two directions and both suit me to a T. Giving into my true gothic roots and my love for skater style dresses.

As a huge fan of the Hotrod Honey wiggle dress I knew the moment they announced swing skirted style I'd be absolutely smitten. When I slipped into this dress for the first time I knew I needed each and every print and future colour options. Words can't explain just how comfortable and amazing I feel in this dress.

My go to style dress is a skater on most casual days. This is a more up market pinup version, perfectly constructed with high quality stretch cotton. The fabric is covered with a unique and super cute tattoo print designed by the always amazing Micheline Pitt. Micheline creates the most amazing prints for both her range an the Pinup Couture range and I love he illustration style and influences.

While I wear the wiggle dress in a size Large I opted for an XL for this specific style so that my giant bustline would not warp the print and it's spot on. I could use Large for tighter fit but prints such as these I think it's best not to size down. The fabric is super stretchy and great for both the coolest part of the year as well as spring and autumn. This style comes with a faux leather thick waist belt that suits the print perfectly and I love how with each dress my waist belt collection grows!
I paired this style with a simple black petticoat but as you can see I might need a shorter one as it popped out from bellow! I do love the ruffles showing so I have absolutely no issues and the length of the dress is perfect for my height. The great thing about this style is that you can wear it with flats and no petticoat during the day then add a killer pair of heels and a moto jacket for a night out.

I honestly can't wait to get a full set of these dresses as I will live in them! Currently they have these two other amazing prints and I need them both in my life asap. I've put myself on the waitlist for both of these prints and I'm crossing my fingers and toes that they original wiggle stripe print in red and yellow are released as a new colour way next season.

I don't think I've wanted a jacket as much as I have the Lilith. A completely unique and intricately designed fashion masterpiece the Lilith Bustle Fishnet jacket is hands down the most stunning item in my wardrobe right now. I would have killed for a jacket like this at the height of my gothic years and having it in my collection now fuels my love for all things black and I adore styling outfits with it.

Now the Lilith is a limited edition piece so if you love it don't miss your chance to own a little piece of fashion history - yes I said it! Laura you will go down in fashion history for this piece! I'm wearing an XL and it's roomy without being too big for me, has space and movement in the bust and waist and although it's made from a non stretch fishnet plastic tulle it's amazingly comfortable.

What I love most about this bustle jacket is how the tulle sits and keeps it's shape, you can fold the fabric over, pack it into a suitcase and when you take it out it will still keep it's amazing shape. Lilith hugs my curves perfectly and the full skirted bottom create the perfect amount of drama. I paired this with my beloved Deadly Dames Kinky Box skirt in Fetish print but the styling possibilities are endless. I originally wanted this to shoot with the Gilda Gown in black but I got this a little later. Imagine how amazing this would be paired with a full length body hugging gown in deep red or an amazing emerald green wiggle dress.

I loved this style so much I used in in two photo shoots! I wanted to show the stunning style paired with colour and in a natural location as shown above and photographed by my brilliant girl Brooke Orchard! But I also wanted to use it for a strong, studio based black and white shoot. So I teamed up with Rom Anthonis and created these darker studio shots.

The thing I love most is how versatile the jacket is for such a unique piece. I've paired it with both a bright swing skirt and high waisted disco pants and everything works perfectly. I can't wait to continue creating amazing outfits with this piece!

A few weeks back I packed my bags full of my favourite brands and headed into one of the most brilliant locations in Melbourne - LuWow! Inspired by my surroundings I packed my two favourite pieces from Voodoo Vixen that screamed Tikibar-tastic.

With both nautical and tropical prints and the most perfect accessories to match, myself and Robin Elk had an absolute ball working in this brilliant location.

Joni Dress -  £49.99

When I laid eyes on the Joni dress and its adorable nautical print I was instantly in love. A perfect shade of navy covered with anchors and ship wheels with accents of cream lace. From first glance I was not sure how high the bust was on this style or if it would suit me but I took my chances and as you can sit it fits like a dream.

In an XL the Joni hugs my curves, nips me in perfectly at the waist and has ample room in the bust. This fabric a non stretch cotton and is super firm so it really holds you in and I found the waist a little roomy yet with a waist belt it set perfectly. This style comes with its own thin waist belt in matching fabric and lace but I like the look of a bold red belt on the navy fabric a lot more.

I paired this with my absolute favourite cover up - the Sweet Sweater from Heart of Haute. It's my go to cardigan and the bright red fabric pairs perfectly this fabric and I love the combo. I think it's clear that I wear these sweaters to death but I can't help it! They match everything.

The swing skirt of the Joni Dress looks great with or a petticoat (as shown here with) and you can play around with complimenting colour underneath such a bright red, white or even use the same shade of navy.

Voodoo Vixen Hula Girl Skirt - TBA (sold out online)

Let's just take a moment to admire this tropical hula girl print and how the colours just pop! This super bright print is a everything I've been looking for in a summer skirt and I love that it's completely different from any other fuller style bottom in my colletion. With a built in belt and buckle you can tighten or loosen this waist ban with ease. This is great if you are not sure of your waist measurements or fluctuate every few months. I'm wearing the Hula Girl Skirt in an XL and it fits perfectly at the waist and glides over my hips.

There is no need for a petticoat with this style as it has shorter length and each pleat ensures that a natural fullness is created. I paired this skirt with my Red Doris top and it red matches the bright colours in the fabric perfectly. Sometimes it's hard to pair reds as they are so varied in colour but this skirt is super simple to match tops and tanks and I can't wait to style it comes summer.

 Polly V Shorts - £24.99
Felicity Dress - £49.99

I've fallen that hard for this fabric that I now need it in EVERYTHING. Lucky for me Voodoo Vixen have created a few more pieces to help me add more hula to my collection.

I've also found the perfect pair of wedges not only to suit both of these outfits but to rock all year round and add that little pop of colour to when I'm wearing my usual uniform - all black.  These closed too skull patterned wedges from Bettie Page are the bees knees! Super high yet super comfy which is my two main goals with every shoe purchase. They pair wonderfully with tropical prints, tiki themed outfits and to be honest everything in my wardrobe. I just adore them so much and I'm addicted to Shoe Me Gorgeous!!

Size wise while I usually have to size up to an 11US for bordello's and pinup couture but for these you will be fine if you order your standard AU size. I'm wearing these in an 11 and they are too big so I'll be needing one size down and then I'll be living in them. They also come in an all black version and I think I'll be needing to pick up a pair of those as well.

I want it to be summer once again so I can wear these outfits out!
